Sept. 20th The grounds of The Arlington Mill Community Center
On behalf of CPRO and myself, I would like to extend our utmost gratitude to all of you performers for supporting the 2nd Annual Taste of the Pike Festival. Without your support and enthusiasm, the festival would not have been a great success! We can"t thank each and everyone of you and your performers enough for your outstanding performances. You were the star attraction all day, capturing the crowd and participants alike. To both old performing arts friends and newly made acquaintances, I hope to continue working with all of you in some capacity in upcoming events and festivals in the future! We hope you enjoyed yourselves at our festival as well and will continue to support our efforts in promoting multiculturalism and Columbia Pike in the coming future.

Janet had never performed a mambo on2 choreography. Her background dance experience comes from ballroom dancing. After completing the 16 week Y2salsa student group training she showed higher understanding of timing, styling, spinning, footwork, confidence and attitude to perform on stage.

| Charlton Jubeark |
Charlton had a 6 months experience dancing salsa on1 beginner level. He had never trained to dance on2 and never performed on stage at all. Charlton's dedication and motivation did not stop him from attending practices on Saturdays driving from Fredericksburg VA to the studio. After completing the 16 week Y2salsa student group training, he showed higher understanding of timing, leading, styling, footwork, confidence and attitude to perform on stage.
